As a mom, I hope I passed down the same values to my children. My husband and I were able to be good parents because we had a support system that would help us. I remember while I was a student at the William S. Richardson School of Law, my cousin would watch my son while I was in afternoon classes. When my daughter was training to be an elite archer, family chipped in to purchase her competition bows.

When I received the call to become a representative, I thought about how I could give back to the community and I can do so by being a strong advocate at the Legislature. I realized that as a representative, Waipahu could become a robust and safer community. As the incumbent representative I supported policies that would provide funding for projects in Waipahu, maintained needed services to ease the cost of living, and discussed new opportunities to improve the well-being and safety of our community.

I truly want what is best for Waipahu, listen to what constituents have to say, and am an accessible and transparent lawmaker. As my parents told me, people can tell when you have a good heart. I hope you see that my heart is pure in wanting to serve Waipahu and I humbly ask for your vote and continued support.
